Beyond Basic Obed./Skills w/ Carolyn Tan

Service Description

Designed for graduates of Foundations (or dogs with equivalent skills), this class builds on basic obedience by strengthening reliability, focus, and teamwork in more challenging environments. Dogs will advance their obedience skills through longer stays, improved recalls, loose-leash heeling with distractions, distance work, impulse control, and increased handler engagement. Students will continue progressing through AKC Intermediate Trick Dog skills while preparing for the AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC). Fun training games and real-life exercises help build confidence, strengthen the human-canine bond, and develop skills that transfer to everyday life and dog sports. Includes: • Weekly in-person instruction • Virtual follow-up support between classes • Access to a private Facebook group • Video demonstrations and lecture materials • AKC Trick Dog evaluations/testing • CGC test preparation and practice • Certificate of course completion Payment will be made directly with Carolyn.
